Bookings

A non refundable deposit of £65 is required on day of booking. This secures the date and covers the brides trial only, should she require one or not, although it is highly recommended. If the wedding party require a trial, it is subject to availability and at the extra cost to be paid by them on the day of the trial. All trials are done at Novia Hair salon in Scarborough. On the day, there is a minimum call out of 3 people to include the bride and two adults. The client must check that the location is no more than 30 miles from the salon {yo111dy} Once bookings are made and the number of people requiring the service is agreed, all persons must be paid for. Any additional people requiring the service will be added on at Aprils discretion and depending on if there is enough time.

Trials

Trials are done up to 10 weeks before the wedding date. They are subject to Aprils availability in the salon. Please send any inspiration pictures you like to April, and take any accessories and/or veil to you trial appointment. If possible, wear something with a similar neck line to your dress and preferably in white. The trial will be for approximately 1.5 hrs and will cover up to 2 styles. Should you require a further trial, this will be done at an extra cost.

Payment

Full payment is required one week prior to the ceremony. Payments can be made via bank transfer or debit/credit card {in person}  ​

Travel Expenses

Travel expenses will be charged at 50P per mile to and from the location. The Bride will cover and travel expenses and parking charges.

Brides Responsibility

It is the brides responsibility to inform April or any issues/allergies/medical conditions with any of the wedding party. April has the right to cancel the agreement if she feels the behaviour of any of the party is inappropriate or puts April and her health at risk. In these circumstances any payment already made will be non refundable.

Aprils Responsibility

April will always honour the agreement to the best of her ability. If April is unavailable, unwell or delayed she will contact the bride as soon as possible and do her best to make rearrangements. In the event she is no longer available on the wedding day she will try and organise another bridal stylist or if full payment has been paid, it will be refunded. If in the event of a 'force of nature' or anything out of either parties control, April may provide a postponement of services up to one year, and any fees already paid will be non refundable and April reserves the right to revise the fees.

Cancellations

If the bride cancels the service less than one month before the ceremony, the bride will be charged in full for the agreed service provided by April. If the bride cancels the service three months before the service, any monies received {excluding the deposit and any other trials paid for} will be refunded. Cancellations must be made in writing. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

 If  April cancels the service any monies paid {excluding the the deposit and any other trials paid for} will be refunded . 

If the bride wishes to postpone the service date, this must be done in writing and  three months prior to the wedding date.

Photography and use of Images

If the bride or any member of the wedding party does not wish there pictures to be used by April this must be done in writing.
